Hotel Hestia - Location

We are located in the centre of Amsterdam, a very short distance from the famous Leidseplein, which offers a wide variety of entertainment, a vast selection of restaurants and cafes to suit every taste and budget, and an assortment of stores for those who enjoy shopping. Also, very close to the Leidseplein is Europe's largest Casino. Within walking distance from the Hotel you will find The Rijks Museum (very informative from an historical viewpoint), the Stedelijk Museum, the Van Gogh Museum and Concert Hall. Should you need directions, our staff will be pleased to assist.
Very close by you will also find the Vondelpark, ideal for jogging, relaxing walks or simply sitting and watching Amsterdam go by. At the weekends it is possible to catch free concerts given by (pop-)musicians.

We are situated behind the Mariott Hotel.

From Schiphol Airport:
Good connections with; Interliner nr. 370 (green bus- stop: Leidseplein) or bus 197 or Connexxion Airport Shuttle (stop at NH Barbizon Centre Hotel), train or taxi .

From Central Station Amsterdam:
Tram nr. 1 (stop: Leidseplein), nr. 2 (stop: Leidseplein) and nr. 5 (stop: Leidseplein).

By car:
Take Highway A10, exit S106, turn right go straight ahead turn right at roundabout, turn left when over the bridge, follow "Overtoom" to the end, turn right (Stadhouderskade), take the second street, right (Tesselschadestraat), and take the first street, left (Roemer Visscherstraat nr. 7).
